Losing you changed me in ways I did not fully understand at the time. It taught me how precious life is, how heavy grief can become, and how deeply people can continue to matter even after they are no longer physically here.

You are part of the reason I care so deeply about helping people feel less alone in their heavy seasons. Your memory sits quietly within this work, not as sadness alone, but as love, purpose, and a reminder of the importance of compassion.

Thank you for seeing the best in me during a chapter where I needed that more than you knew. Thank you for the time we had together; you always gave me perspective, and I appreciate that greatly.

I wish the road here had been softer. I wish I had understood sooner how deeply grief had changed me, and how heavy suicide bereavement had become to carry. But I understand more now. Looking back, I can see how much that loss shaped me, and how much growth was required to find my way forward.

Through it all, your belief remained one of the things I carried with me.

You once believed I could do it.

I did it.

And my only regret is that you weren’t beside me to see it.

No matter where life takes us, a part of this achievement will always carry your fingerprints. Your belief helped light a path I could not yet see for myself, and when everything felt uncertain, that faith mattered more than you ever knew.
